Two woos and a boo.

Hello there!

Yes, I've been away.

And by "away", I mean to another country. But some of you already knew that...

Recap: I left my home in Eastern Canada on October 13th, and as I type this in my dining room, I've been to, in order, California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Oh, and British Columbia.

Oh wait, and Utah and Colorado.

I've crossed four time zones. I've climbed (in an SUV) up to and over the Arizona Divide, which I didn't know was a thing.

Drove somewhere near the Continental Divide, and even to the famous Four Corners, which is a spot where Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico meet in exactly four corners.

Hence, the name.

See? I visited all four states in ONE stop!

Actually, I should mention that I was joined by my partner in crime known as RCP, who shall remain named as such to protect the identity of her family in case we get busted for all that fence climbing...

Annnnnnnnnnyway, she did almost ALL the driving between Las Vegas and back, and 1800 miles in between.

Our dear friend, host, and mentor TC did some driving too. His lovely wife E came along for a few of our adventures.

Where did we go?

Places like Shiprock...

It is AMAZING.

Then there was El Morro.

El Morro is a mesa near Ramah, New Mexico, and is known for its inscriptions from passing travellers, from all the way back to 1526, and for some stunning ancient petroglyphs.

And for that incredible blue sky!!

Look at those sunbeams! I shot this with my cellphone, in selfie mode, pointed straight up.

SO gorgeous!

Sometimes, just sitting in the car and driving on and on is pleasure enough.

Because, ahhh, the road goes...

....ever on...

...and on...

...and on.

Just don't forget to maintain your vehicle.

(Route 66, in the Petrified Forest.)

But no matter where we go? It's always best to go with good friends who know the way.

Because good friends make any trip...grand.

So, what does the title "two woos and a boo" mean?

RCP's "inside and out kind of beautiful" daughter K posed that question to us when we returned to RCP's home.

Hmm, two woos? THAT is tough!! Can I say 1) my travel partners(T, E, and RCP), and 2)New Mexico?

A boo? Not having enough time to see all that we wanted to see and learn all that needed learning.

But as Scarlett says, "tomorrow is another day".

(Sunrise on October 28th, somewhere secret, near Gallup. New Mexico)
